Block Breaker
What is Block Breaker?
Block Breaker is a casual arcade game in the classic brick-breaking tradition, also known as Breakout or Arkanoid. You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen and bounce a ball upward to destroy blocks arranged in rows. Move the paddle horizontally to keep the ball in play and angle your shots toward the remaining bricks. Clear every block to finish the level and move on to the next one.
Not all bricks behave the same way: some break in one hit, others need several hits, and unbreakable blocks force you to plan your shots around them. Falling power-ups add variety, including multi-ball, a longer paddle, a sticky paddle that catches the ball, laser shots, bombs, and speed modifiers. The ball speeds up as levels progress, so paddle positioning and quick reflexes matter more and more. You start with a limited number of lives, and the run continues as long as you have lives left.
How to Play
Move the paddle by dragging left or right with the mouse, or use the left and right arrow keys on a keyboard. On mobile, swipe left or right to control the paddle.
Click or tap to launch the ball at the start of each level.
Deflect the ball with different parts of the paddle to change its angle, and catch falling power-up items before they drop off the screen. Aim for blocks that release power-ups, use wall bounces to reach awkward corners, and stay calm when the ball speeds up. The game can be paused whenever you need a break.
