Shady Cats is a fun platform game where you control a cute cat, navigate platforms, and collect fish while avoiding a shadow that mimics its movements. Your biggest enemy is the shadow: it copies your movements and always runs behind your back. If you aren't careful, your shadow will catch you immediately, ending the run in no time. Shady Cats includes 2 game modes, Normal and Crazy, each with its own challenges, and more shadows can appear as you play.

How to Play Shady Cats

Use the left or right arrow keys to move left or right, and press the up arrow key or spacebar to jump. Help your cat run left or right and jump between platforms to gather as many fish as you can while keeping a close eye on the shadow. Don't rush toward every fish you see. Check the surroundings first and make sure your cat has a safe route to reach it. Never run back and forth without thinking, or you may trap yourself in a dangerous position.

Tips for Shady Cats

Plan your route and avoid unnecessary backtracking while using well-timed jumps to stay ahead of the chase. Avoid stopping or staying still longer than needed, as the shadow doesn't need much time to catch your cat. Collect as many fish as you can, but don't bump into any shadow. Practice in Normal mode before trying Crazy mode, and stay calm as more shadows appear.
